We all know or have seen, met or even talked to someone who you could very easily, but definitely should not label a "geek." Although these people are usually hidden deep in their mother's houses or "lairs" if you will they often time take the time to get out and meet others....sometime it does not go as well as hoped. Props to these folks.
Probably not knowing about life in the independent school system you would have no idea about the complete "un-funness" that oozes from the word "duty." Some background:
Somewhere way out when independent schools were being formed they decided to suck all the money up that was being paid by the patrons who attended the school and put it into a big bank where it could accrue interest. Each year there has been no deviation and nothing has changed. This pretty much brings us up to now and there is a need for folks to stay after and make sure the kids stay sedate. To counteract this task most of us attend a meeting where we attempt to spice it up by being ridiculous.
Each duty night I will post a phrase on my twitter in which I will incorporate into every response that is needed by a child. Tonight we shall take on a name: Ron Perlman mainly for his amazing role as Turok's grizzled, unkept friend, "Slade" in the new Turok game. You are very much welcome.
Everyone knows that this time of year is full of the words "beach, break, bonkers, bums or buns...one of the two." Being one of the followers in life I to have had a bit of a break from the hectic life style that we all attempt to obtain and am more then depressed to be flung back into reality. Reuters wrote up a pretty good article describing the entirety of the situation. We all learned from our good ole neighborhood terrorist....what's his name? Never underestimate the looseres tendencies that can come from an odd day, a terrible liquid induced headache / heartache and the time you forget your books when you need to take care of kids doing their work.
